Cookie policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

We keep cookies on this website to a minimum. There are no advertising cookies, no social pixels and no third-party trackers that follow you around the web. Everything we set is either strictly necessary for the site to work or aggregate analytics that do not identify you. The table below covers the lot.

Cookie Set by Purpose Duration
Session and preference Automica (first-party) Remembers things like whether the mobile menu is open. Set only when needed and cleared when you close the tab. Session
Analytics (aggregate) Privacy-friendly analytics provider Counts visits to each page and tells us where visitors came from. No personal identifier, no cross-site tracking, no advertising. Up to 30 days
Security Hosting provider Used by our hosting provider to block abuse and bot traffic. Stores a short token associated with your request. Session

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below cover the most common browsers. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean parts of the site stop working as expected.

Legal basis

Under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), strictly necessary cookies (the session, preference and security items above) do not require consent because the site cannot work properly without them. Aggregate analytics are set only where allowed under current ICO guidance for privacy-friendly, non-tracking measurement. We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling.

Do Not Track

We do not use behavioural advertising, so the Do Not Track signal does not change much for us. We respect it in the sense that we never set cookies designed for cross-site tracking, with or without the signal being on.
